Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
This policy explains what data Waiwerk (operated by G-Rocket Ltd, Agiou Georgiou 52, 7737 Maroni, Cyprus) collects, why, and your rights. It is written to meet the EU GDPR and US CAN-SPAM requirements. Questions: waiwerk@webwerk-design.de.
1. What we collect
- What you submit: the email address and Google Maps link (or business name and city) you enter to request a free report, and your first name if you provide it.
- What we derive: public information about your business — its Google Business Profile data, reviews, and how AI assistants and Google describe it — which we compile into your report.
- Email interaction: if we email you, whether the message was delivered, and your replies.
2. Why we use it (legal basis)
- To generate and send the report you requested — performance of your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To follow up about your report and our services where you have a relevant business interest — our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time (see §6).
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising unrelated to your request.
3. Who processes it (sub-processors)
To run the audit and deliver email we use carefully chosen providers, each acting on our instructions:
- Google Places API — business profile and competitor data
- DataForSEO — local search ranking data
- OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), Perplexity — to measure how AI assistants answer about local businesses
- Resend — email delivery
- Instantly — outreach email delivery (for prospects we contact)
- Railway — database hosting
Some providers are located in the United States; transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
4. How long we keep it
We keep report requests and the resulting reports for up to 24 months so we can follow up and re-measure, then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
5. Email & anti-spam
Every email we send identifies us, relates to your business, and includes a one-click way to opt out. Tell us to stop and we suppress your address immediately and permanently.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these, email waiwerk@webwerk-design.de — we respond within 30 days. EU/EEA residents may also complain to their national data protection authority; in Cyprus this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
7. Cookies
This site does not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We use only what is strictly necessary to serve the page.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top reflects the latest version.
